| Pour exprimer notre soutien à Anne Marie, une amie dans la peine, que son mari a décidé de laisser pour d'autres horizons, j'avais proposé de faire des blocs sur le thème des chiens et des chats, puisqu'elle a du déposer son chien et son chat à la SPA, ne pouvant les garder. Et puis, pour s'orienter vers des sujets plus positifs, évoquant davantage l'avenir à reconstruire que le passé à oublier, le groupe s'est mis d'accord sur le thème du bateau (mener sa barque au travers des écueils) et des étoiles (à suivre pour éviter lesdits écueils !). | We wanted to express our concern and support for our friend Anne Marie, whose husband has decided to leave her. I suggested that we make some blocks for her on the theme of cats and dogs, as she was unable to keep her furry friends when she and her husband split up. But the group then decided that a more positive approach would be better, That we should look to building a new future rather than to trying to forget the past. With this in mind we decided on boats (steering safely through the reefs) and stars (to help her avoid those reefs). | |
