| Ce patch a été construit grâce à des blocs reçus lors d´un échange
international (Allemagne, France, USA, Canada) organisé par moi-même, nous
étions peu de participantes, 12 pour être exactes (dont un désistement
pour des raisons personnelles). |
Dieser Decke wurde genäht dank einem internationalen Tausch, einige Blöcke kommen aus Deutschland, Frankreich, den USA und Kanada, der Tausch hatte ich selbst organisiert. Viel waren wir nicht, 12 Teilnehmerinen an der Zahl, wobei eine von uns aus persönlichen Gründen leider abspringen mußte. | This quilt was sewed thank an international swap. Some blocks were sewed from quilters in Germany, France, USA and Canada. I organized the swap. We were 12 participants and unfortunately one quilter had to renonce because of private reasons. | |||||
| Et j´ai donc cousu un block pour chaque participante, soit 10 blocs, chaque bloc ayant son "jumeau" dans mon quilt ! Les jumeaux n´étant pas parfaitement identiques, il y a des petites différences. | So nähte ich einen Block für jede Teilnehmerin, und jeder Block hat sein "Zwilling" in meiner Decke!. Die Zwillingen sind nicht exakt gleich und haben kleine Unterschiede. | So I sewed 1 block for each participants, and every block has a "twin" in my quilt. The twins are not perfectly similar, may have some changes. | |||||
| Des amies-quilteuses m´ont aussi fait des cadeaux (Block et broderies) pour ce quilt ! | Befreundete Quilterinen machten mich noch Geschenke (Block und Stickereien) für diese Decke! | Other quilter-friends made me a block or embroidery for this quilt! | |||||

| Les blocs que j´ai crée sont tous des dessins originaux créés par moi-même pour cet échange. Un des blocs, le plus facile à reproduire en couture sur papier est à télécharger gratuitement (format pdf). | Das zentrale Motiv (Hand-appliziert) ist meine eigene Kreation, und die gesamte Decke wurde planlos um diesem Weihnachtsmann genäht nach dem Lustprinzip! | The central Santa Klaus (hand-appliquéd) is my own design, and the quilt was sewed around this block, without any planning or conception. It came as it came ! | |||||

| Le patch a été entièrement quilté machine (stipplé) avec de nombreux fils différents en matière et couleur. | Die Decke wurde mit der Maschine gestippelt mit vielen verschiedenen Garnen (Farbe und Material). | The quilt was machine-quilted and the stippling made with many different threads (colors and material). | |||||
